Party Run Benefits Leukemia Texas
$35,000 raised to support leukemia patients in Texas
DALLAS, TX (2015) – Leukemia Texas, an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to fighting leukemia, celebrated Leukemia Awareness month as sole beneficiary of the 2nd annual Party Run.
Organized by C.H. Robinson, the Party Run is a 5K race and fun run through the scenicVitruvian Park. Over 400 competitors came together the night of Friday, Sept. 25.
Following the event, Leukemia Texas proudly accepted a check for $35,000, which will directly support leukemia patients in Texas.

The evening began with vendors such as Essentia, Camp Gladiator, Beanitos and others offering runners goodies and prizes. Participants also had the option to enter in a chance drawing to win prizes given by The Claim, Fashion Home Furniture and the American Airlines Center. Major sponsors include C.H. Robinson, Constellation Brands and Victoria Beer, Franconia, McGladrey, and Run On.

The Party Machine Band kicked off the countdown to the start of the race with music that kept everyone moving throughout the evening. After participants crossed the finish line, they enjoyed free beer, wine, and a crowd favorite, In-N-Out Burger.
After medals were handed to the winners, party-goers danced their way to the official after-party sponsored by Addison Ice House, and enjoyed the signature Cocktail for a Cure, where proceeds benefitted Leukemia Texas.
